IFS Employees Help Rescue Kitten at BJC
May 25, 2017 In Blog Post Community News Article Philanthropy Plumbing

On Monday May 22nd  Integrated Facility Service plumbers responded to a service request from BJC to address a problem with a storm drain – but this was no ordinary plumbing problem.  Employees from BJC reported that a small kitten had fallen into the drain and gotten stuck.  When MSD and the local Fire Department couldn’t rescue the kitten, IFS’ crew stepped up, and helped get the job done.  Alan Glosemeyer and Chad Beckmann worked tirelessly to save the kitten. Even after excavating the pipe, it still took several attempts to coax the frightened kitten out,  but their diligence paid off. The kitten is safe, and healthy, and is being adopted by a BJC employee.  Nice work Alan and Chad!

KSDK has the story.
